I am very pleased to see the amount of high quality research that is ongoing in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, China, Japan, Korea, India and other countries to develop a greater understanding of how acupuncture works in the human body.
It has long been known that acupuncture can have a very beneficial physiological effect in many human biological processes.  Further research is contributing to this body of knowledge to define exactly how these effects are produced.  This will ultimately lead to better clinical results.  There has never been a better time to be involved with acupuncture as a clinical science.  MK
